Malaysia's political mob of sheep.

Embedded image permalinkEmbedded image permalink

Mob of sheep baa-baaing their leader, although the leader is leading them to deep shit hole.
Oh wait...he's innocence until proven guilty right?
Yeah, who can blame them. They might be paid to get all so enthusiastic to the guy (their leader) whom had, for the love of dignity, being called to New York for an investigation of large 'meddling' of a sovereign wealth fund that he oversees. SUCH A SHAME!!
And local sheep would not want to accept the reality of it. Maybe half of them don't even read out of their mainstream.

Just so you sheep know; and I will repeat it again and again --your beloved protagonist was couple of months ago had to kowtow to American's Justice Department that investigates international corruption.
Although these Americans doesn't give a bull and crap about what's going on in your own backyard, they are actually acting after receiving some brave men reports and is focusing on properties in the US that were purchased in recent years by shell companies that belong to his stepson as well as other real estate connected to a close family friend.

Investigators are also looking at a $681 million payment made to what is believed to be his personal bank account.

I have had a couple of occasions during 'touching-base' visit to extended family; normal chit chat led to political talk.
Mind you in  both occasion; these are people who i) very active in real politics and is close to some people up there; and ii) who is quite close to those who run (not technically) one state of the country.
The fact that both do not know about supplemental stories of his (Najib) stepson extravagant lifestyle and activities back in the States and NOT even knowing about the super-complete-of-all- vices movie The Wolf of Wall Street; it got me thinking what do these people actually know.
To what extend is their exposure of the real goingons?
Or is it because they are being the typical "frog underneath coconut shell" (this is my direct translation to the Malay proverb which means frog which stays under a coconut shell will think that the shell is their world -- even though we know that frog DO NOT live under a coconut shell. For whatever reason behind the proverb-- sometimes I think Malay people those days do not do lots of research before creating a good useful proverb) Thus the frog will live life without any  knowledge of things or happenings outside of it's 'world' and remains ignorant but is happy with it.

The most astonishing part was remark from one of them; who is the one that's quite active politically -- his claim of the current economy and people are happy and everything is well and okay (with an absolute proud UMNO face) got me taken aback. Really.

Truth be told. He was so darn oblivious.
Perhaps that views were the actual representation of 'voices' of those majority out of the city people.
They don't live life driving on jammed packed roads daily. Paying high tolls everywhere eventhough the roads are still jammed up for the sake of getting home to families if not the caretaker will charge extra for late pick-ups.
They do not have to pay high rental houses or small flats to stay nearer to their workplace, they do not have to pay extra 30 percent for raw food or even cooked food from stalls and restaurants in their vicinity and they obviously won't feel a pinch when their houses were in walking distance to minimart and market or banks in their small teeny weeny little kampung.
And I bet their full tank of petrol can lasts him two weeks or more -- Let me say this to them -- "People like you are the reason why scumbags like Najib and other delusional ministers survived in this country!! "...

Really.

Malaysia -- Too Much Monkey Business ...

The truth will prevail...one day.

.
It's a shame when political party being led by some desperate scoundrel that has no qualms in using his authoritative power and using draconian method hoping to silence those who dare to voice out against their abuse of power.

Worst when hundreds of other scoundrels rallying behind him sniffing his ass.

The Malay political party of Malaysia; UMNO which commence their yearly general assembly today will be witnessing something out of the ordinary and certain things that had never been done before will be take place.
It seems the security will be much tighter...God knows why.
But, forget all those. The most important thing that have been carried on for so long will be the speech by both the President and the Deputy.
However, this time the Deputy -- who is also the sacked Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin will not be given the privillege to do so. But why?
We must ask.
What does a cabinet post has anything to do with party post?

The General Assembly which will run until 12 December will unfortunately, time and again witnessing ass-licker, yes-man and robots congregation. Nothing more than that.
If there had been too many issue with the President who is also the prime Minister of the country..if what ever baloney that he and his sheep had been failing to cover up because it was too obvious -- boycott the assembly!

But again, who how many on earth will have the guts voicing out against some super power (so they thought).

Nonetheless, Muhyiddin, trusting his honesty will somehow garnered acceptance and will be listened to,  organised his own gathering last night; a night before the general assembly.
I salute him for doing so.
The truth will prevail. This is what scares the superpower and his sheep.
I am a firm believer that the truth will definitely one day emerged somehow, somewhere. No matter how you try to hide, it show itself.

In God we trust.

When a scumbag elected as a Prime Minister...

PENAFIAN hak Timbalan Presiden Umno, (Tan Sri) Muhyiddin Yassin, merasmikan persidangan Pergerakan Wanita, Puteri dan Pemuda di Persidangan Agung Umno (PAU) mulai 8 Disember ini adalah manifestasi mutakhir dua perkara.

1. Ketakutan yang semakin mendalam yang menghantui Presiden Umno merangkap Perdana Menteri, (Datuk Seri Mappadulung Daeng Mattimung Karaeng Sanrobone) Mohd Najib Abdul Razak dan konco-konconya.

Mohd Najib ramai penyokong kenapa takut Muhyiddin seorang?

Banyak Cara Lapah Harimau

Wallahuaklam.

******************************************************************

Honestly, no matter how I try to hold on to my believe that there will be some people in UMNO that'd have the balls and guts to really iron things out and make those bad creases created by our (not mine ) beloved Prime Minister Najib goes away, and those whom would dare to voice out their sentiments towards what ever is happening right now --what Im seeing infact were more ass-licker than true to justice people crowding and cheering their scandalous Prime Minister.

I have actually given up hope with our government ever since Najib took office. Added on with those juicy story about the controlling wife and her whims and fancies.
There would not be any changes in the party because what moves the party ever since those nenek moyang days were the typical Melayu belief that the younger or the lower rank must respect the elder or the upper leadership. This BS mentality only applicable perhaps 40 years ago. Not now, not with people getting access to news and whatnots thru the www.

By not wanting to change and holding on to the 'we-must-respect(afraid)-of- the -leader mentality -- the Melayu won't go any far.
They will forever carry on their sheep-like mentality and the lion will forever acquire all the power without having to be afraid of those sheep objections. If sheep refuse to follow -- lion will quell them. Done.

Some of new Malays like myself look at those who enter politics as scumbags racing their way to satiate their hunger for power and money. None other than that. Not because they want to really work for their rakyat. To us they don't give a hoot about what really happen for as long as their comfortable chair and income from various businesses gain from becoming a 'somebody' goes to their banks locally and abroad without any hitches.

And perhaps there are those who really want to uphold their true leadership and perform their duties as the peoples voice -- but of course, in such a materialistic world now -- we all know those type wont make it far. And they will be the black sheep among the 'clean' whites.

So, those write up and stories about something is being done to investigate any wrongdoings by some people and monies coming and going into thin air are all mere fairytale and would not ever reach to any conclusion that you, me and others would like to see, and hope to happen;because the lion has his contingent of sheep Baa-baaing behind his back.

Just so you know, on how encouraging is Najib's reputations now -- an Indian and his Filipino colleague came over to fix my bicycle tyre commenting on his 'credibility' and on whats going in our country after asking me where I hail from. And like always Mahathir's name will top the chart.

Now, who can deny that.

Cow-Conspirator Salleh and his family.

Mohamad Salleh, seen here with his wife Datuk Ser Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, is facing CBT charges over the misuse of funds given by the government for the expansion of the local beef industry. The Malaysian Insider pic, September 24, 2013.They can give whatever bull and crap reasons behind the acquittal of the cow-loving man Salleh Ismail, the  National Feedlot Corporation Sdn Bhd (NFCorp) executive chairman of two huge charges of criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving RM49.7 million but they cannot hide what is obvious.

The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court judge Norsharidah Awang granted the man an acquittal after lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah and deputy public prosecutor Syed Faisal Syed Amir met in her chambers.
Wonder what transpired....
The judge did not give the reason for her decision.

The  A-G had earlier consented to give Salleh a discharge not amounting to an acquittal following a letter of representation sent to his office couple of months back.

Salleh's lawyer said -- " his client should be freed because of special circumstances of the case, and that an acquittal should be given since the trial had started"....
What special circumstances? Cheating RM49.7 million because the cows needed to stay in condominiums instead of their usual barn?

Just so people know how manipulative Malaysian politicians can be -- His wife a member of cabinet and a full minister who claimed she din't know anything pertaining to her husban;d business affairs -- which anyone in sound mind would'nt want to claim so, since they're still living together and a husband and wife.
They (because I know husband and wife will talk and discuss how to spend their easy money)
had 'misappropriating' RM9.76 million by four cheques from NFCorp funds to finance the purchase of two condominium units in Kuala Lumpur.
The husband was also charged with committing a similar offence by transferring RM40 million by way of a cheque to the account of the National Meat & Livestock Corporation Sdn Bhd, which he and one of his children own.

Besides trying to strike out charges against him, which failed, he is also facing two other charges relating to using company funds without the approval of an annual general meeting to make part payment for the condominium units.

I wonder what kind of goodness do they get out of stealing money from others...people without conscience.

What a shame.

Najib Razak Corruption Scandal: Former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad Calls For Premier To Step Down.

RTS38C3
The distraught Najib Razak

Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is wading deeper into a corruption scandal involving current Prime Minister Najib Razak. He has ratcheted up pressure on Najib to resign and described Malaysia as “a pariah state…where anyone can be hauled up and questioned by the police, detained and charged through abusing laws of the country," the Sydney Morning Herald reported Monday. Mahathir has called for months for Najib to step down.
Accusations leveled against Najib in July alleged that he had taken $700 million from a state investment fund, the 1Malaysia Development Berhad, and deposited them into his personal bank accounts. Najib denied taking the fund’s money for personal use; and in August, the country’s anti-corruption commission cleared him of those charges, saying the money had actually come from foreign donors.

Najib explained (lied) 1MDB to US business leaders.

UMNO ONLINE
"Bersatu Bersetia Berkhidmat & Berbodoh Bersama"

Here is what I read from  Salleh Said Keruak blog on his boss's 'brave and good intentions' moves explaining his 'wrongdoings' swindling Malaysian public money.

" In his recent trip to the United States, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak met business leaders during a meeting on business prospects in Malaysia now and in the future where he took questions from them regarding 1MDB.
So the allegation that the Prime Minister refuses to address this issue or explain the matter is not true. During a business luncheon a day earlier, Najib touched on the weakness of the 1MDB business model, which he described as too idealistic.
Najib explained that only RM1 billion had been invested to undertake a huge property development and RM18 billion for the acquisition of power generation plants, resulting in the company having to go heavily into debt financing.
Najib then told the audience that he is confident that by the end of the year the company would be able to go through the process of rationalisation with a massive reduction of debt. Najib also informed the business leaders that there would be an announcement in the coming days regarding a significant reduction of 1MDB’s debts to the tune of RM16 billion.
Needless to say, none of this was carried by the local news portals, which seem to want to avoid talking about any good news involving 1MDB. "

Bullshits.
No doubt people are calling him ass-licker.
He would licked his bosses ass just to stay where he is now...continuing the legacy of the family; to be in power.

UMNO should change their slogan actually. One that could fit them well especially for those ass-licking cabinet ministers.

It should read -- Bersatu Bersetia Berkhidmat dan Berbodoh Bersama.

Ass-Licker Politicians.

I understand to be in power in any governmental job must be the dream of many individuals especially those with high ambitions.
Although it comes with great responsibility (if they are genuine and doing their job honestly), it can be lucrative too.
Okay, on the lucrative part -- all of us know that government job wont be paying us much compare to private sector. But it can become lucrative when those in power use their authority and power to make more money to themselves and their cronies and family members.

But to stay in power is not easy too.
Especially not when you have a boss that will terminate your position as and when he like. Especially when those having the small fry power trying to challenge the bigger power.

Just like Muhyiddin Yassin, the ex-deputy prime minister of Malaysia which had been sacked by his boss when he is only 'trying' to going against the boss's traffic flow.
He was sacked.
The AG was sacked.
The two level of Bukit Aman was on fire for no apparent reason and it seems nothing important were stored there. Just some old newspaper...yup. Old newspaper and amazingly the fire is so smart enough to know which level to go to and lit up by it self.
That is one of the ass-licking statement most of us somewhat know will be uttered by all those who want to keep their positions and pensions.

Now, talking about being in power and having to hold on to it, is not that easy when you have hanky panky games going on.
And when that hanky panky involves really scrumptious amount of money public money, it widens up eyes of everyone including authorities locally and abroad.

But to back up any hanky panky wrongdoings of a big boss isn't an easy job.
Just like the newly appointed deputy prime minister of Malaysia, Zahid Hamidi on the millions of dollars of money being played around his boss's and playmates accounts.
He said the money is not Malaysian public money, instead the money was given to his boss by some Middle Eastern "King and Prince”.

Yup...right. Sure.Donations.
He must have forgotten about technology.
He must have overlook a lot of other things because he is too busy trying to come out with reasoning to cover his boss's ass for giving him the new position. And nobody said it is easy.
But he wants it.
Now he gotta cook it.
But he cooked the story without knowing how to balance the salt and pepper.

Easy straight question.

Why would it stated partial payment if it was a form of donation and if it was for the cause of the party, why didn't it goes to the party's account?

"Partial payment" rather than donation
“Partial payment” rather than donation

Like they always say, cut the bullshit.

Lick-ass ministers Part II

I was so elated reading about this on the treadmill this morning.
Eventhough news (mainsteram) from the homeland says this is not true (in a way) and didn't flash it out as big as The NY Times, I would want to know other than this.

Yes.
At last the lords has spoken.
And as described in the news --  this move was infact 'a rare and explicit intervention in politics, the sultans of nine of Malaysia’s states' .
According to the news, they have called for a swift and transparent investigation into a political scandal involving Prime Minister Najib Razak, saying his failure to resolve allegations of corruption had created a “crisis of confidence” in the country.

An excerpt;

Malaysia’s central bank and anticorruption officials are investigating whether millions of dollars transferred into Mr. Najib’s accounts came from companies linked to a government fund that Mr. Najib oversees.
The statement by the sultans, who have a largely ceremonial role, was their most direct intervention in politics in recent history. Analysts said it was likely to provide support for the embattled officials who are investigating the scandal and buttress the position of the growing ranks of Mr. Najib’s political opponents.

The national news agency, Bernama circulated a statement mentioning that "the findings of the investigation must be reported comprehensively and in a transparent manner so that the people will be convinced of the sincerity of the government, which shall not at all conceal facts and the truth,” .

And as the issues has never seen any positives interventions from necessary party(s), which indirectly provokes the rakyat's need in knowing what is happening actually; this timely action by the rulers come in a much needed time as people are losing hope and trust in the current government.

However, I'm pretty sure those lick-ass cabinet ministers will definitely find ways and mean trying to buck-up their boss's ass.

We shall wait and see what comes next...

Najib again...

From CheDet.com

1. I had worked hard to make Najib the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

2. But now I want him to be removed, to step down from being Prime Minister.

3. It is nothing personal.

4. It is because he has failed terribly as Prime Minister.

5. Very early I noted the wrong things he was doing.

6. We have been independent since 1957. We should be able to run our own country by ourself. Indeed we had been doing so for decades before Najib, and we did very well.

7. But Najib appointed several British officers as his advisers.

8. Najib appointed many foreign consultants to advise him on running the country.

9. These people cost billions of Ringgits but their advise were generally not good for the country. They knew nothing about the politics, economics and sensitivities of Malaysia. As a result the development of Malaysia has slowed down and the races are at each others throats.

10. Najib’s Government became extremely unpopular. Despite giving lots of money to the people, they rejected him in the elections of 2013. He performed worse than Abdullah, who was also rejected by the people. The Chinese rejected him totally despite his declaring himself to be their brother.

11. He antagonised the civil servants by setting up Pemandu to take over the job of the EPU. Pemandu non-Government personnel were paid very high salaries, far above the Government Salary Scheme. So annoyed were the Civil servants that a few, upon retirement joined the opposition party and stood as opposition candidates, something which never happened before.

12. The growth of the economy fell below those of the Philippines and Indonesia.

13. The currency depreciated and share prices went down badly creating problems for businesses, importers and exporters. The cost of living went up especially after the GST.

14. Then came the 1MDB scandal. A totally unnecessary fund was created which was to be financed by huge borrowings. The Government gave one million Ringgit as capital but 1MDB (1 Malaysia Development Berhad) borrowed 42 billion Ringgit from the market. It paid high interest of 5.9% and gave 10% commission to Goldman Sachs. Government never borrowed so much or paid such high rates.

15. 1MDB bought electric power plants at higher than market price. It also bought the debts of the power companies. Total cost was 18 billion Ringgit. 1 MDB lost so much money that it cannot pay the interest on the loans.

16. 1MDB bought Government land at 60 Ringgit per square foot when the real price is over RM3000 psf. Revaluing the land by 50 times, it claims its asset is bigger than its debts. This is like selling Approved Permits obtained free from the Government.

17. Then 1MDB entered into shady business with Petro Saudi as JV partner. It paid USD 1 Billion for its 40% share. Six months, later the JV was dissolved. But the USD 1 Billion together with another 700 million USD were converted to a loan to Petro Saudi. The money has now disappeared.

18. The only assets that 1MDB has are the power plants and the land in Kuala Lumpur. More than RM20 Billion of the 42 billion Ringgit cannot be traced or accounted for.

19. Then suddenly the Wall Street Journal reported that Najib had in his private account at the Arab Malaysian Bank USD700 million (amounting to RM2.6 billion at that time)

20. No PM of Malaysia or UMNO President can have that much money. All donations to UMNO are normally received and banked by the UMNO Treasurer. All assets are placed under the name of three trustees.

21. Never in the history of UMNO had there been more than RM250 million in cash. All other assets are in the form of shares, land and buildings. The President is duty-bound to hand over all donations to the treasurer for banking. The President never had UMNO money or money donated to UMNO for elections for example in his private account. There is no provision for UMNO accounts to be operated by the President.

22. Najib and his wife are well-known for a lavish life-style. Obviously millions were spent on the betrothal and numerous wedding ceremonies in Malaysia and Kazakhstan. Najib’s step-son spent hundreds of millions of dollars buying property in London, New York and California. He also financed the production of a Hollywood movie, “The Wolf of Wall Street” with over 100 million US Dollars.

23. On Najib’s salary as Prime Minister, it is impossible for him to spend millions on all these. A statement by the PMO claimed that the money for the foreign properties and film was inherited. It is impossible for Tun Razak, or Haji Noah or Rosmah’s father to have and leave hundreds of millions of Ringgit. They were not even known as millionaires. Najib’s brothers refuted the claim.

24. So where did the money come from. Najib claims the 2.6 billion Ringgit was donated to him by an Arab. This is ridiculous. Nobody ever gives that amount of money to anyone. And Najib cannot prove that the Arab had given the money.

25. And so a special task force consisting of the A.G, the Anti Corruption
Commissioner, the Governor of Bank Negara and the Inspector-General of Police was set up to investigate the source of the RM 2.6 billion in Najib’s private account at The Arab Malaysian Bank.

26. The Public Accounts Committee of the Dewan Rakyat was also investigating what happened to the RM 42 billion Ringgit borrowed by 1MDB. So was the Auditor General.

27. Suddenly Najib sacked the Attorney-General claiming he was sick. The A.G denied he was sick. There was no certificate by doctors to prove he was sick. Najib had no right to claim that the A.G was sick.

28. At the same time the head of the Anti-Corruption Commission was said to have gone on leave. The Governor of Bank Negara was silent. Later she stated she was afraid of being arrested.

29. Two of the Government members of the PAC were made deputy ministers and another two given other jobs. They could not carry on their work as PAC members. The PAC was without a Chairman and its investigation of 1MDB has stopped.

30. Two members of the Anti-Corruption Commission were arrested, released and transferred to the PM’s office. After complaints were made they were transferred back to the Commission.

31. The assistant head of the Special Branch was transferred out. He then made a strong statement against his transfer.

32. People who spoke about 1MDB and the 2.6 billion Ringgit in Najib’s account, or reported on it were arrested, have their passports confiscated and threatened by the police with questioning. It seems that any question about 1MDB and Najib’s 2.6 billion constitute acts to undermine democracy and to topple a properly elected Government. People can be detained for up to 28 days without trial under a new law which is meant for acts of terrorism. Talking about 1MDB and Najib’s 2.6 billion seems to constitute acts of terrorism. Najib forgets that he was involved in the removal of his predecessor who was also elected democratically.

33. Then came a bombshell. Al Jazeera screened the story of the murder of the Mongolian girl Altantuya. It was clear from the story that Najib has something to do with the murder.

34. Many Malaysians refuse to believe it. But people all over the world believe the story. It has become an international scandal. It has brought shame to Malaysia. Everywhere one goes, one is asked, “What has happened to Malaysia”.

35. Between 1MDB, the 2.6 billion Ringgit in Najib’s private account and the murder of Altantuya, Malaysia’s good name has been totally blackened. Never before has Malaysia become so disgraced by its own Prime Minister. Never before have people looked down upon this country. Never before have Malaysians been so ashamed of their country.

36. Najib has paid people to demonstrate in the streets in support of him. He has of course made it illegal for people to demonstrate for his removal.

37. If the currency and the economy is to recover, Najib must cease to be Prime Minister of Malaysia. Malaysians must demand for Najib’s removal. It is totally democratic to demand for his removal. The actions he has taken to detain people for holding rallies to demand for his removal is what is undemocratic and against the laws of this country.

38. I call upon all Malaysians to demand that Najib allows the investigation against him to be carried out by independent people not appointed by him. Najib must allow due legal process to go on. If it is found that he had done illegal things he should be made to resign.

39. Only his ceasing to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia will the economy recover, the Ringgit revalued up, and cost of living go down. Only after his removal can Malaysians stand tall again.

Where is your pride Najib Razak?

Image result for najib razak cartoonic pic
Oh gosh....Im burnt this time....
There is this news from an Asean fellow country today on it's minister tendering his resignation after a mistake done on his side.

Japan's sports minister Hakubun Shimomura tendered his resignation over the scrapping of plans for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics centrepiece stadium after a cost blowout.

Now, lets evaluate this simply.
Even though Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who is also his close ally had asked him to stay on until the upcoming cabinet reshuffle , but out of dignity, this minister determined that this is what he should do.
Not just that, he will also return half his pay for the six months through September in atonement, as reported by Kyodo news agency.

What do we call this?
Dignity.

That is the difference between someone with dignity and one who has none.

Shimomura said 'he has caused great worry and trouble to many people over the national stadium problem' and feel this is the best to be done.

Plans for the stadium 2019 Rugby World Cup, would be scrapped after the estimated cost of UK-based Zaha Hadid Architects' design ballooned to over $2 billion, nearly twice the original figure.

It is not uncommon for Japanese ministers to step down or resign from their cabinet post when something uncalled for happened. In 2011, amid Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster following a major earthquake and tsunami , the Prime Minister Naoto Kan stepped down and so does it's Industry Minister, Banri Kaieda.

Although the root of the disaster was an act of god, they took the blame for all the downfall Japan faces after the incident.

This is what one with pride and one that has great responsibility should do in order not to create more tension. Most of the time, when the people doesn't want you to lead anymore, you cannot just stick there and act like nothing happen and continue to belittled the peoples' intelligence by suffocating them with lies after lies and the mere stomach wrenching statement that the country's economy is still stable.

And that is what Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak is doing and continues enjoying doing so.
Stop all those bulls and be a man and just let go Najib.

Malaysia’s Leader, Najib Razak, Faces U.S. Corruption Inquiry.

"The inquiry, being run by a unit of the Justice Department that investigates international corruption, is focused on properties in the United States that were purchased in recent years by shell companies that belong to the prime minister’s stepson as well as other real estate connected to a close family friend, said the people knowledgeable about the case, who asked for anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it. Investigators are also looking at a $681 million payment made to what is believed to be Mr. Najib’s personal bank account".....

Now,....I know the phrase "I told you so..." is not a nice one to say to someone, especially if that someone is a premier of a sovereign nation -- but in this case, I'm betting tons of people (and of course those close to him too) would just love to say this to his face.

Conclusion?
Don't be greedy.
Don't think people are stupid and dumb to know whats going on, and especially with your Hollywood-super producer-wannabe, stepson Riza Aziz.
Owh, come on....every goddamn people can do their math Najib.

Time to #letgoNajibRazak. Before they tear you down and apart...

The brink of Najib Razak.

TAXES

1. One of the greatest achievements of Malaysia is in the collection of taxes. Malaysians willingly pay taxes. They fear legal action being taken against them. They fear more the raids on their businesses and residences by the income tax authorities. I know this because I was raided when I was expelled from the party and was working as a medical practitioner.

2. They got hold of my cheque stubs and nothing I said would convince them that the money in my account was not all mine. In the end I had to pay more than twice what they claimed I had not declared.

3. The income tax people are always on the lookout for people who live beyond their means. They would raid these people and would force them to pay additional tax should they feel that the culprit had not paid up fully on their wealth.

4. But of late we see some selectivity in the focus of the income tax people.

5. For example the step son of the Prime Minister is reported to have spent hundreds of millions of USD or Ringgit buying luxury residences in London, New York and Hollywood. He also expended many millions to finance the production of the film “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

6. When the Prime Minister’s Office claimed it was inherited money the brothers of Najib protested. Their father was not rich and did not leave hundreds of millions of Ringgit to the family. Even Najib had to admit that Tun Razak did not have such money to leave to his family. So where did this money come from?

7. It was claimed that the money was from business. If he made so much money from business he would have paid income tax. Has the income tax people investigated him regarding his business profits. How much tax had he paid. It is a secret of course. But I hope it is not a cover-up.

8. Then there is Jho Low. He bought a bank for 260 million US dollars. Where did he get the money. Is it borrowed? Did he sell the bank and paid taxes on the profit.

9. He also bought luxury flats in New York and Hollywood. Where did the hundreds of millions he paid for all these come from? Has he paid tax on them?

10. I believe executives of 1MDB and its subsidiaries are paid high salaries. Have they paid taxes on their earnings?

11. I understand that the Prime Minister as adviser to 1MDB is not paid anything. He is paid the Prime Minister’s salary, which I know is far smaller than what business executives get. But the Government pays allowances, the electricity and water bills, transportation, home, etc. So the salary can all be saved and spent.

12. But still the lavish lifestyle must cost a packet. It must be more than what I saved after 29 years in the Government.

13. It is a secret of course. But I just want to ask, has the income tax people investigated the source of the money and the tax paid.

14. We talk about equality before the law. In this country even the rulers are subject to certain laws. It is the essence of justice. We must be equal before the laws and we must be seen to be equal. Everyone who should be investigated by Government agencies must be investigated. There should be no discrimination.

Does anyone actually needed to be convinced or walked through on what this Najib has been doing, so obviously uncontrollable and immensely greedy?...

Im counting for his fallen days...

The crumbling of Ringgit Malaysia.

This I'm sharing from The Scribe A Kadir Jasin...

Bank Negara Wades In But Truth May Never Prevail

IN the June 9 posting entitled N2H: Arul Kanda Nor Dr Mahathir Who Spooked PM, in part, I wrote: “The Bank Negara Governor, Zeti Akhtar Aziz, is in danger of losing public confidence and respect for her extended silence on the 1MDB issue and her penchant for hiding behind banking secrecy and confidentiality.”
I contended that this is because Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) had been openly dragged into the controversy by no less than the Prime Minster, Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, himself.
He had said openly cash 1MDB was bringing back from Cayman Islands could not be remitted directly to Malaysia due to BNM”s restrictions and had to be deposited in Singapore.
The cash, amounting to the US$1.103 billion (RM3.985 billion), had since metamorphosed into “asset certificates” and more recently, according to Finance Minister II, Ahmad Husni Hazadlah, had become “units”.
In an interview with TV3 on April 10, the Prime Minister said: “Time will determine but at a certain time, the money will be brought back to Malaysia.”
On May 26, Zeti confirmed that BNM Negara had received a report from its Singapore counterpart - Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) - on a complaint lodged by BSI about 1MDB’s account. BSI is the Swiss private bank where 1MDB deposited the Cayman Islands' proceeds.
Only after more than a week of receiving the MAS report that BNM, on June 3, announced that it has commenced a formal enquiry to examine if there are any contravention of financial rules and regulations with respect to matters surrounding 1MDB. It does not help to raise our confidence when BNM appears to be playing the games of catching up.
In the meantime, confidence in economy is waning despite assurances that our economic fundamentals are strong. Whether BNM admits it or not, the contagion effects of 1MDB are becoming more apparent.
Given the secrecy and confidentiality claims, we don’t know much about what BNM has been doing in the interim. Has it entered the currency market to prop up the ringgit? Maybe it has because the exchange rates of the local currency has stabilised after falling to a nine-year low against the dollar on June 8 and its reserves has fallen.
Zeti had indirectly alluded to the contagion effects of 1MDB when she said BNM would not allow any single entity to undermine the country’s financial system.
Bank Negara Finally Admits.
On June 18, in yet another admission that the contagion effects of 1MDB and the political development are becoming worse, the Central Bank did the unthinkable – it waded into the murky world of politics.
While saying that BNM would not be drawn into politics, it issued a statement urging “the country to resolve domestic issues that have affected the currency.”
It said it would not be drawn into any political agenda and would remain focused on maintaining monetary and financial stability.
So, after months of expounding the country’s strong economic fundamentals and blaming external factors for the weakness of the ringgit, the Central Bank finally acknowledged that “domestic issues” are equally to be blamed.
The national news agency, Bernama had described the BNM statement as attempt to “depoliticise the debate over the weakening ringgit.”
The Central Bank was responding to what it called “the recent inaccurate and misleading media reports” on the central bank and the ringgit’s volatility.
It statement came a day after Deputy Finance Minister Ahmad Maslan had said that Bank Negara’s information indicated Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s criticism against Mohd Najib was one of the reasons for the weakness of the ringgit.
The comments was made in parliament and reported in local media. Ahmad Maslan, who became the butt of many Internet jokes for his outrageous statements on the economy in support of the Prime Minister – the latest being his GST-free fried rice - had emerged as Mohd Najib’s poster boy.
Ahmad Maslan was catapulted to that position following the growing reluctance of the more senior members of the Cabinet to come to the Prime Minister’s defense.
Instead “the roadside sources” said he faced considerable opposition from member of the Umno Supreme Council on 1MDB. The sources said the disagreement was so serious that there were the banging of the tables and raised voices at the sitting of the Council.
Despite Mohd Najib telling the press that the Council supported him, sources said some members told him point blank that 1MDB could kill Umno.
[Roadside sources was a term used by Mohd Najib’s spokesman, Encik Rizal Mansor (no relation to Rosmah Mansor the PM’s consort), to described sources of information of the independent bloggers.]
Cooking Up The Book
The process of dressing up 1MDB’s book via creative accounting is in full swing. We hear such jargons as enterprise value, prudence and propriety being used to trap the uninitiated.
The whole idea is to give the impression that everything is OK and above board.
But the people involved, including external auditors, must be reminded of recent events in the US, when accountants and auditors cooked up the books of such giants as Enron, Worldcom, Tyco, Freddie Mac and American Insurance Group. The frauds were almost all accounting-related.
As for the investigations into possible criminal deeds, except one by the Public Account Committee (PAC) of the Parliament, the rest could very well be getting nowhere.
That is to be expected. For as long as Mohd Najib remains the Prime Minister, the investigators would have to abide by the protocol. Be it the police, the MACC or the Auditor General, their boss is the PM. We cannot expect them to go against their boss.
So the public should not place too much hope that the guilty parties would be exposed and punished. Maybe one or two will be made scapegoats and be given a light slap on the wrist and removed from the board and management.
The truth may not prevail instead the crusaders will be burnt at the stake.
Business as Usual
In the meantime Mohd Najib continues to do what he does best – gives handouts. A few days after chairing the pre-budget dialogue and telling the people to “remain vigilant in the face of economic uncertainties” he announced a special Raya Bonus for the civil servants.
Mohd Najib believes “money is king” and favours could be bought.
He acknowledged that household debt remained high - at 87.6% of gross domestic product - while commodity prices, particularly crude oil, liquefied natural gas and palm oil, were anticipated to remain soft.
Yet he continues to play Santa Clause to prop up his popularity.
He admitted that the GST is dampening private consumption, which he said saw some moderation due to the one-off inflationary pressures of the new tax.
May inflation rose to 2.1 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) but analysts expect the overall inflation rate to slow to 2.3 per cent for the whole year due to lower consumption.
In the meantime businesses are suffering, corporate results are dismal and foreign investors are leaving in droves. We are suffering a massive confidence deficit.
According to MIDF Research head, Zulkifli Hamzah, as of the middle of this month, foreign investors had been net sellers on Bursa Malaysia for seven consecutive weeks. In his weekly fund flow report dated June 15, Zulkifli said for the third week running, the amount offloaded by foreign funds was more than RM850 million a week. That’s a whopping RM2.55 billion.
So where is Mohd Najib as Finance Minister going to get the additional revenue to pay the civil servants and to meet his lavish off-budget expenditures?
Already his Idris Jala-inspired transformational programmes have seen RM25 billion of EPF money – the life savings of private sector workers – had been channelled to Pembinaan PFI.
Like 1MDB, Pembinaan PFI belongs to Finance Ministry and is also heavily indebted. It is one those things that Mohd Najib called Private Financing Initiative (PFI).
What is so private when the company belongs to Finance Ministry and the money comes from EPF?
This could be another time bomb and the deceit continues. Even Tabung Haji had to lie about the so-called buyers lining up to buy its 1MDB land. Its sales deadline had long past and no transaction in sight. Some BN members of Parliament had tried to come to its rescue by saying it should keep the land. But the sale order was made by Mohd Najib himself!
So, like a clumsy overfed kitten, Mohd Najib is spinning yarn around himself, and in the process is causing us to trip. This cannot be good. But being a Bugis Warrior Mohd Najib would rather sink in the stormy sea than taking the ship back to harbour. The Malay saying “sesat di hujung jalan kembali ke pangkal jalan” does not apply to a blueblood Bugis Warrior.

Facebook Warriors.

Interesting to know read....

A new group of soldiers, referred to as “Facebook Warriors” will ” wage complex and covert information and subversion campaigns,” according to the Financial Times. This unit will be named the 77th battalion, whose number also has a historical significance. FT says:

The original Chindits [77th battalion] were a guerrilla unit led by the swashbuckling British commander Major General Orde Wingate, one of the pioneers of modern unconventional warfare. They operated deep behind Japanese lines in Burma between 1942 and 1945 and their missions were often of questionable success.

These Facebook warriors will be using similar atypical tactics, through non-violent means, to fight their adversary. This will mainly be achieved through “reflexive control,” an old Soviet tactic of spreading specifically curated information in order to get your opponent to react in the exact way you want them to. It’s a pretty tricky trick, and the British army will be doing just that with 1,500-person (or more) troop using Twitter and Facebook as a means to spread disinformation, real war truths, and “false flag” incidents [Britain’s spy agency has admitted (and see this) that it carries out “digital false flag” attacks on targets, framing people by writing offensive or unlawful material … and blaming it on the target] as well as just general intelligence gathering. The 77th battalion will reportedly begin operations in April.

Documents leaked by Edward Snowden also showed that governments are “attempting to control, infiltrate, manipulate, and warp online discourse“.

The United States and Israel Americans have also long engaged in massive Internet propaganda.

1 down and 3 to go!!

Okay, I know this is not a laughable matter.
I mean we shouldn't  laugh when someone dies or at others' misery.
We should be sad.
Or at least show some compassion or pretend to be sad.

But not in this case.
This is out of norm.
And this is Karpal Singh.

I must have been waiting to hear some good news lately that when I heard about this person's demise from my significant other, automatically the words 'Alhamdulillah" came out of my mouth...and I laughed.

The families and friends and supporters must be crying their eyes out and mourning for the lost of this so-called 'fighter'.

Well, a fighter he is not.
A stirrer he was.
And a person who once stated that he will stripped Malaysia off the Muslim sovereignty and that he and his jingbangs will make sure the special Bumiputera status be ripped and made equal to all Ah Peks and Kuppusamy.
And no, don't get me wrong.
Im not racist.
But what stipulated in the beginning of the establishment of the country and the privileges should remain.
Again, don't let us go to who and who fight for the independence of this country. Period.

There's another interesting news.
This is from his partner in crime -- Anwar Ibrahim.
I find this rather comedic because at the end of the whole humdrum, we all know who is holding the spears.

The opposition leader early last week withdrawn from the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) presidential race, leaving its incumbent and his wife Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to retain the post uncontested.

She has been the party president since the establishment in 1999.

It seems that Anwar had informed the central election committee of his decision but did not state the reason for doing so, however it is understood that he did so to concentrate on his sodomy case.

My word for it ?
Whatever....duhhh.

Malaysia and Qatar.

There are two things that is happening now which involves me indirectly.

One -- the mystery surrounding the missing Malaysian Airlines MH370, which managed to get my birth country in the eye of the world for about a week to date, and the other one, the country where Im currently residing, Qatar, which is in a tight situation after being in some sort of minor political conflicts.

The mystery surrounding the missing jetliner will be nearing its two week checkpoint this Friday. To date, there have been loads of 'might-bes' ... Why I call it might bes...it just because the plane now, might be hijacked, that is what the government telling the public now. Which Im pretty sure, that came after receiving lotsa inputs from very intelligent Intelligence, from big policeman of the world, the United States.

Now, giving hundred and one speculations and theories by every Tom, Dick and Harry and Mary and Mary and Jane too; one cant help but to stop a while and evaluate the whole incidents... mind you, reading too much of it, can also cause you to be paranoid and started to dog back all the things you read about the Illuminati and NWO.

Anyway, until some thing are found -- debris or plane cushions whatever, I still consider this missing jetliner as a 'vanished mysteriously'...I shall not, and would not, put down my hand a surrender to the story told by Malaysian government that the plane had diverted that far and can't be found -- when more than 20 countries helping scouring the ocean and sea.

Two -- the minor (maybe) political conflicts between Qatar and hie fellow brother left, up and right -- Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain.
Now, I sensed something fishy was going on when a 52 year-old Qatar Petroleum doctor was arrested at Dubai airport in February 2013 and stories linking him to Muslim Brotherhood emerged.

The Emirati authorities initially refused to give any explanation for the prolonged detention of the director of medical services at Qatar Petroleum, however months after his detention, initially was at a secret place, he was recently charged to seven years in prison for “financially and morally supporting” members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to the court, the doctor gave money to the families of detained members of the Al Islah group, a banned organisation in the UAE affiliated with the Brotherhood.
Al Jaidah, director of medical services at Qatar Petroleum, has denied these charges, but will have no legal avenue to appeal the decision, his supporters have said.

Here is why I found it fishy when hearing the story of this person's detention -- and this is even before the conflict arises.
It was not understood, at least for me -- why a country, arrest another country's citizen and put him in a secret place and placed him in the jail for that length of time -- just because he gave money to a group that your country deemed 'terrorist'.

But -- aren't you (UAE) supposed to be brothers with your Gulf countries?
And, why Qatar didn't or not known publicly making any comments on this issue. Like as if Qatar is allowing UAE to do what they like to it's citizen?

And now, we know why.
There was a conflict.
Wonder no more the silent of the lamb.
Because the lions are roaring high and loud now.

Saudi Arabia, being the bully as it has been...I have few reason of my saying so; has been asking the Saudis working in Qatar to ditch their job and come home. Few have follow the calling and more are expected to do so gradually.

The lion and his other brothers had early of this month, withdrew their ambassadors from Qatar in the name of “security and stability.” -- Im not sure security from who or what, and stability in what sense...

UAE state news agency WAM reports that the unprecedented decision was made by Saudi Arabia, the big brother. It seems that Jordan offered to help with Kuwait becoming the middle person for the table talk. But, they were told off and not to mind this brotherly fight.

If you read the Arab and their culture since 2000 years  ago, there had always been fighting and killing and disagreement. I have even watched the Emir of Dubai giving an impromptu talk and history walk through prior to their National Day couple of years ago. I remember well how he explained nonchalantly how Qatar and Bahrain leader during the discussion of setting up the GCC years ago, including how and where they held the meetings -- which is quite interesting.

Coming back to the impact as a resident here.
I do hope nothing serious will take place.
Why Qatar not looking alongside with the other GCC brothers, I must find out why.
My theory?
Maybe US is pushing some buttons here.
Knowingly there's US base here.
What is the relation of US and Muslim Brotherhood..., that will be written in another entry.

All in all -- I hope this wont be a start of not a good year for the world.
First quarter hasn't come to its end yet....

Shutting Down Of Al-Jazeera?

Dubai (AFP) - Saudi Arabia demanded that Qatar shut down Al-Jazeera and two think tanks during a recent meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council, a source close to someone who attended the talks told AFP Friday.
After the reportedly heated March 5 GCC meeting, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates recalled their ambassadors from fellow member Qatar, which they accuse of interfering in their internal affairs and supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.Riyadh demanded the closure of the pan-Arab broadcaster as well as the Brookings Doha Center and the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, the source said on condition of anonymity.
The source said Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal had demanded three things of Doha -- "to close the (Qatari-owned) Al-Jazeera network, which stirs sedition; close the research centres in Doha, and turn over all outlaws" on its territory.
Doha's foreign minister replied that the demand constituted "interference in Qatar's internal affairs," the same source said.
Gulf officials do not usually comment on closed-door meetings.
Qatar is seen as a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates across the region, which are banned in most Gulf states.
Saudi Arabia and other Gulf monarchies have long been hostile toward the Brotherhood, fearing that its brand of grass-roots activism and political Islam could undermine their authority.
Saudi Arabia and the other two states accused Doha of giving refuge to opposition figures and of even giving some of them citizenship.
Critics have long accused the influential pan-Arab broadcaster Al-Jazeera of biased coverage in favour of the Brotherhood, and several of its journalists are on trial in Egypt for allegedly supporting the group.
Most Gulf states hailed the Egyptian military's July overthrow of president Mohamed Morsi -- a former senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood -- and pledged billions in aid. Qatar, which had strongly supported him, has seen its influence in Cairo evaporate.
The Gulf Cooperation Council includes Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman.
***********************************************************************
.....and I do sincerely hope they will come to a certain understanding and compromise.

Malaysia Will Go Bankrupt!!

A good read...or at least something to ponder besides thinking why your white hair getting more on the left side, or why your wife has been quite happy lately *check the credit card statement*, or why your husband has been smiling without any reason or having after dinner business meetings besides golf retreat with 'friends' to Batam Indonesia...

Talk or rumours or borak kedai kopi has it since last election...

PM Confirms Malaysia Will Go Bankrupt Under Him !!
That is how I read it.
He is not only the PM but he is also the Finance Minister. He is directly responsible not just for the gomen but also over the gomen's financial management.
The buck stops with him. He cannot taichi it on anyone else. Please dont blame the bloggers, the neighbour's cat or the Sulus.

This talk has been doing the rounds lately. No less than a State leader (I wont say MB or CM) has said that the gomen is "tapping" urgently on funds from Petronas to sustain operations. In short the gomen has no money.
The gomen has been spending money like water. But there are not much returns to show for all this spending. Now the PM is saying that without collecting more taxes the gomen will go bankrupt.
Here is The Star :Najib: It’s either GST or facing bankruptcystark choice of increasing government revenue via (GST) or burdening country by borrowing more money.GST necessary as country risked becoming bankrupt like Greece if it resorted to borrowing“We have to find additional sources of income and that’s why we have to implement the GST” he said
