Perihal Chin Peng Dan Pendatang Haram

Perihal Chin Peng Dan Pendatang Haram

Kerajaan Malaysia perlu tegas dalam banyak hal lebih lebih lagi berkenaan dengan isu pelacuran dan dijadikan batu loncatan kepada pandatang asing yang diketahui umum melalui penipuan berikut;

Behaviour Part II (aka Baboon Part II)

You reap what you sow.

I had come to know someone who just love to use this phrase sometime ago.
You reap what you sow in other word means that if you do bad things to people, bad things will happen to you eventually or when you do good things you'll be paid off with good things too.
Somehow, this phrase is normally and widely used when someone has done something bad.

Just like the case of Malaysia ex-communist leader who is currently residing in the neighbouring country. His quiet supporter (i must say this because if not, he, the Gerakan chairman won't be foolish enough to bring up the subject of bringing him back to Malaysia) should know that in life, we, the believer, will definitely know that when you do something bad to other people, you will be paid the same here in this world or thereafter.
The Buddhist and Hindus call it 'karma'.

As a good human being we were thought to be good to other people.
In any religion and beliefs, we were told to forgive and forget.
Nevertheless, in some occasion when the situation calls more than one party interventions and when it is related to sensitive issues such as politics and race(s), then the forgive and forget might not be applicable at all. If this is done, there would surely be more difficult issues and situation in hand and later there would be unwarranted tensions whatnot.

As for us individuals, we sometimes do wrong things that we might not know or notice or simply making believe that it is not wrong at all.
When we did something wrong towards one person, then, the actual issues would only be known well between the two person.
Stories, reasons and justifications on why the other party is doing such a hideous thing to the other one would only be known by just the two party. We can put up a façade to hide the real reasons and situation.
There are people who just let the sail follow the wind, and one who will get away because they are good in making faces and putting up 'masks'.

But, eventually the smart majority will notice why is that only that one particular person is the one that will be harbouring dislikes among the rest; this of course we cannot count in the 'die-hard blinded' supporters who need some sort of 'stronger' branch to cling on to eventhough deep in their heart they will be asking the same questions.

Take for example the supporters of Malaysia 's former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim who is currently the de facto leader of Keadilan, the so-called People’s Justice Party. Although this is political issues and the strongest will win the battle, he (Anwar Ibrahim) was removed from office with an immediate effect by the then Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed.

See, to all his 'reformasi' supporters, he is the not guilty person, he is the hero, he is their man. But, give it a thought. Would he, the good guy, be removed with an immediate effect, if Mahathir doesn't have enough bullet in his hands.
He must have done something really bad to the nation that only the insider would know better. He must have provoked the dragon that at the end he gotta pay for disturbing the slumber of the bigger dragon, just when he thought that he is big also!
The mass majority is only listening to the sad stories that the family got to brave thru during the turbulence.

But lets take a look at him as an individual.
What do you think of a man who chose the improper way of taking the girl of his dream hand into marriage? A member of the family that has stories and so on and so forth.
Lets take a look at him when he was the head of his student group and rioter during his university time.
He is unlike his then boss, who is known to be very well behaved and devoid of any silent controversies during his younger days until he took office.
But he was outrageously outspoken.
He dares to nay the wrong and yes the right.

Basically, when you dare to play politics and busy garnering votes, you must also be prepared to be lashed by anybody at all. By your opponent or perhaps the backbencher.
It might also be the one that you thought to be your ardent supporter.

In politics, be it small timer such as group of housewives in every neighbourhood, in every town, or in the office among the prefered ones and the no-ones, you are alone and you trust nobody.
In the office you are not indispensable. In politics you have rival. In family you have rivalry.

The only glue that sticks the party or group of people together is the needs and wants of every one individuals has; the materialistic factor and the power that people and human would cry, die and kill for.
However, one obviously must have the kiss-ass attitude to climb their rag to riches and glory ladder.

Suits yourself.

Communist.

Govt Will Not Allow Chin Peng To Return, Says Najib

PUTRAJAYA, May 27 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian government will not allow former Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) leader Chin Peng to reside in the country.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the return of the former terrorist would lead to dissatisfaction among the people, especially those who fought the communists and families who lost their loved ones during the CPM's revolt from 1948 to 1981 (known as the Emergency).

Najib said this to reporters at his office at the Perdana Putra building here today.

He was asked to comment on the call by Penang Gerakan chairman Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan for the government to allow Chin Peng to return to Malaysia.
According to Teng, Chin Peng, who is now domiciled in Thailand, no longer posed a threat and as such the government should consider allowing him to return on humanitarian grounds.

The request by Teng drew flak from many quarters, including Defence Minister Datuk Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi who described it as insensitive to present and former members of the security forces and families of those who lost their loved ones to the communists during the Emergency.

In other developments, commenting on the Internal Security Act detention of Jemaah Islamiah (JI) leader Mas Selamat Kastari, Najib said the suspect would be held at the Kamunting ISA detention camp for two years to enable the authorities to gain more information on the terrorist network.

He said Mas Selamat's detention was justified as he posed a threat to the security of Malaysia and Singapore.

He added that the security authorities of both countries were in contact on the matter and that Singapore too would have taken similar action had he been in the republic.

Mas Selamat, who escaped from a Singapore prison over a year ago, was captured at a remote village near Skudai in Johor last month.-- BERNAMA

***************************************************

Hhmmmm...first of all i do not know what had struck this Penang Gerakan chairman head when he came out with this silly outrageous proposal. Either he had too much drinks or he might be Chin Peng's decendent.
Maybe he thought that Penang is all strong with the Chinese supports thus making believe that this stupid call will gain support from his party and constituency. And perhaps, he is just trying to create some issues? Maybe.

He must be mad asking this ridiculous thing somehow.
Of course that dying old man will not pose any threat to the country anymore but the death and predicament caused by him and the communist to all the people during the CPM period those time are unforgettable.

What does he meant by considering to allow that communist to come back on humanitarian ground?
Did he posses that attributes when he and his guerrilla killed all the kampung folks and the soldiers fighting to restore the stability of the country those days.

He should be made paid the trouble he caused those days.
I will vote him to come back to the country but he got to serve his days somewhere in paid room and food in Kajang though.

8 Toxic personalities to avoid.

by Brett Blumenthal

Although we like to think that the people in our lives are well-adjusted, happy, healthy minded individuals, we sometimes realize that it just isn't so. Personally, I've had moments where I'll be skipping through my day, happy as can be, thinking life is grand and BAM, I'll be blindsided by someone who manages to knock the happy wind out of my sails. Sometimes it is easy to write it off and other times, not so much.

Maybe you are a positive person, but when you are around a certain individual, you feel negative. Or, maybe you have an idealistic view of the world and when you are with certain people, you are made to feel silly, unrealistic or delusional. Or, maybe you pride yourself in being completely independent and in control of your life, but when you are around a certain family member, you regress into a state of childhood.

Some of these situations, and yes, these people, can have a tremendously negative impact on our lives. And, although we are all human and have our 'issues,' some 'issues' are quite frankly, toxic. They are toxic to our happiness. They are toxic to our mental outlook. They are toxic to our self-esteem. And they are toxic to our lives. They can suck the life out of us and even shorten our lifespan.
Here are the worst of the toxic personalities out there and how to spot them:

1. Manipulative Mary: These individuals are experts at manipulation tactics. Is a matter of fact, you may not even realize you have been manipulated until it is too late. These individuals figure out what your 'buttons' are, and push them to get what they want.

Why they are toxic: These people have a way of eating away at your belief system and self-esteem. They find ways to make you do things that you don't necessarily want to do and before you know it, you lose your sense of identity, your personal priorities and your ability to see the reality of the situation. The world all of a sudden becomes centered around their needs and their priorities.

2. Narcissistic Nancy: These people have an extreme sense of self-importance and believe that the world revolves around them. They are often not as sly as the Manipulative Marys of the world, but instead, tend to be a bit overt about getting their needs met. You often want to say to them "It isn't always about you."

Why they are toxic: They are solely focused on their needs, leaving your needs in the dust. You are left disappointed and unfulfilled. Further, they zap your energy by getting you to focus so much on them, that you have nothing left for yourself.

3. Debbie Downers: These people can't appreciate the positive in life. If you tell them that it is a beautiful day, they will tell you about the impending dreary forecast. If you tell them you aced a mid-term, they'll tell you about how difficult the final is going to be.

Why they are toxic: They take the joy out of everything. Your rosy outlook on life continues to get squashed with negativity. Before you know it, their negativity consumes you and you start looking at things with gray colored glasses yourself.

4. Judgmental Jims: When you see things as cute and quirky, they see things as strange and unattractive. If you find people's unique perspectives refreshing, they find them 'wrong'. If you like someone's eclectic taste, they find it 'disturbing' or 'bad'.

Why they are toxic: Judgmental people are much like Debbie Downers. In a world where freedom rings, judgment is sooo over. If the world was a homogeneous place, life would be pretty boring. Spending a lot of time with these types can inadvertently convert you into a judgmental person as well.

5. Dream Killing Keiths: Every time you have an idea, these people tell you why you can't do it. As you achieve, they try to pull you down. As you dream, they are the first to tell you it is impossible.

Why they are toxic: These people are stuck in what is instead of what could be. Further, these individuals eat away at your self-esteem and your belief in yourself. Progress and change can only occur from doing new things and innovating, dreaming the impossible and reaching for the stars.

6. Insincere Illissas: You never quite feel that these people are being sincere. You tell a funny story, they give you a polite laugh. You feel depressed and sad and they give you a 'there, there' type response. You tell them you are excited about something and you get a very ho-hum response.

Why they are toxic: People who aren't sincere or genuine build relationships on superficial criteria. This breeds shallow, meaningless relationships. When you are really in need of a friend, they won't be there. When you really need constructive criticism, they would rather tell you that you are great the way you are. When you need support, they would rather see you fail or make a fool of yourself.

7. Disrespectful Dannys: These people will say or do things at the most inappropriate times and in the most inappropriate ways. In essence, they are more subtle, grown up bullies. Maybe this person is a friend who you confided in and uses your secret against you. Maybe it is a family member who puts their busy-body nose into your affairs when it is none of their business. Or maybe, it is a colleague who says demeaning things to you.

Why they are toxic: These people have no sense of boundaries and don't respect your feelings or, for that matter, your privacy. These people will cause you to feel frustrated and disrespected.

8. Never Enough Nellies: You can never give enough to these people to make them happy. They take you for granted and have unrealistic expectations of you. They find ways to continually fault you and never take responsibility for anything themselves.

Why they are toxic: You will spend so much time trying to please them, that you will end up losing yourself in the process. They will require all of your time and energy, leaving you worn out and your own needs sacrificed. (my old flames)

All of these personalities have several things in common;

1) the more these people get away with their behavior, the more they will continue.(thus they must be stopped at some point of time by someone)

2) Unfortunately, most of these people don't see that what they do is wrong and as a result, talking to them about it will fall on deaf ears, leaving you wondering if you are the crazy one. (absolutely right!)

3) Most of these people get worse with age, making their impact on you stronger with time. (hahahahaha....i agree totally)
Frankly, life is too short to spend your time dealing with toxicity. If you can, avoid spending much of time with people who are indicative of these behaviors and you'll feel a lot happier.

Have you encountered these personalities? (Yes, currently.....)
What have you done? (I have started an attacked after being attacked.....)
Any personalities you would add? (Will come out with one or two soon....)

************************************************************

This is a very interesting topic and came out just at the right time when i am personally dealing with some of the toxic personalities mentioned above.

All of us have at some point of time face and got to know the above character but as we grow older and matured, we will learn the trait on how to deal with them.

Because of my lifestyle and work experiences, i can confirm that i have encountered more than five of the mentioned toxic personalities in people that i know.
From not knowing how to handle with it, and being emotionally depressed besides my self-esteem being torn , i learnt my way out to handle or get back to them.
These are the personalities that would eventually make some people more smarter in tackling other worst mental attack or some who would just kept quiet and left with bruises in their heart and soul.

That is why getting back will be a very good help to built up confident in oneself.
As for me, getting back to these sort of people, will also depends on my 'moods' and the level of toxicity.
If for example the toxicity isn't that bad, then i will let them go away with it and let them stay in their hopeless zone, otherwise, i will surely take my 'opinion' upfront and made known of it.

Personally i have to admit that i had been an Insincere Illissas once, long time ago.
I admit that i would just put up a façade so to make people happy when i know deep inside that, that is what they really want and needed because a lot of people don't really like criticism.

Plus, i was young to know how to criticise and was lack of self confident and experiences.
Overtime, together with ups and downs of life and back-up with experiences i began to built myself and not afraid of being who i am.
I began to take note of my weaknesses and strenght and i began to know my self better.

Thus, as we grow, we must for one be a better person and not otherwise.
But there are people who just want to be Manipulative Mary or Narcissistic Nancy forever without ever want to look at their own self and ask 'why am i like this', ' what am i gaining by doing this' so on and so forth.

In my personal opinion, the only thing lacking in people having the above attributes is ; they have not done a good reality check on themselves and all they know is to blame people when something bad befallen them.

p/s:
To my 'friends' with the above attributes, this is a note for you to start spend time alone two hours a day and conduct a reality check, and do yourself a favour ; get rid of these toxicity.

Facebook.

The wondrous things about facebook.
What more can i say about facebook?

I had log one story on facebook late last year on how i found that facebook was doing good job in connecting long lost people that i want to start connecting again besides being 'searched' by those that i would really not want to keep in touch with anymore.

But one story from Indonesia two days ago on facebook was quite amusing.
See how facebook had its waves hit until clerics in that 90% Muslims populated country wanted a 'ban' on people using that platform of internet connection.

It all started when Muslim clerics debating on the mountainous popularity of facebook which according to them can led to 'sinful things' and one of them would be illicit sex. Nevertheless, they did mentioned that followers could use the networking site to connect with friends or for work — but not to gossip or flirt...duhhhh....
Any sort of gossip or flirts happens daily.
In the office, at the bus stops, and very very obvious in chatrooms where 'adultery' happens daily, which later resulted in marriage being disturbed and broken.

Why don't they try to ban internet chatrooms?
Why facebook?

Perhaps they failed to understand that facebook is just a platform.
However the users want to use it, and for whatever purpose they intent do use it, is all up to the individual.

So, due to that, more than 500 imams and clerics agreed to draft up guidelines on surfing facebook and the web in general.
How can they came out with something silly such as trying to regulate what people can and cannot do on a platform which the sole features is to connect people worldwide is only complicating simple matters when it answers is only; DO or DON'T DO.

That is all.

If a group or person is using this platform to incite hatred or sinful things, then it is again up to the user or individual to join in or otherwise.
There wasn't any force in facebook.
It is free.
And the individual will have to take responsibility on whatever they do via that platform.

While there is no immediate comment from facebook, their spokeperson said that they "have seen many people and organizations use facebook to advance a positive agenda".

I wonder whether complaints on facebook in Indonesia was created and initiated by its rival i.e. Yahoo or Google as it was rated the highest ranking site in that 235 million people beating the two pioneer at a very fast pace.

The similarity between Indonesia and Malaysia was the mentality of its so-called 'clerics'. They have one funny way of expressing their dissatisfaction on things related to trendy young adult lifestyle. They will always find reasons and excuses to ban this and that such as yoga for instance.

Why don't the cleric in Indonesia do something about the inter religion marriage there. What i meant by inter-religion marriage here was the Muslims marrying a non- Muslims where the latter remain with his or her religion.

Why don't the clerics in Malaysia try to come out with dress code for Muslims youngsters who would be wearing a very revealing outfit in the public. Can they come out with that dress-code? Just like how they came out with couple cannot be kissing freely in the public.

Teaching and leading the Muslims in this advance era is not by banning everything, but by implementing the most easiest things first; reaching out to the young people and understanding the world progress. Then, you clerics can start touching on the other matters.
To be a developed countries we must open our mind and doors to new technologies and things.
With new technologies there will surely come along its consequences.
That consequences must be tackled first.

Than you clerics can start on facebook.
For the time being, im enjoying it well :-)

NUCLEAR POWER

1. With the price of oil going up higher and higher, many in this country are thinking about power generation. At one time the Malaysian Government had decided on a four fuel policy for the generation of electric power. We wanted power plants to use either fuel oil, gas, coal or hydro power. We had excluded the use of nuclear power.

2. Why did we reject nuclear power?

3. I am not a nuclear scientist but I believe I know enough of the dangers of using nuclear (fissionable) material.

4. When Hiroshima and Nagasaki were atom-bombed, the scientists who invented the bombs thought that the destructive effect would be only from the huge explosion due to fissionable material. So did their victims - the Japanese.

5. As a result the Japanese entered the destroyed cities to carry out rescue work and to clean up.

6. It was only later that they realised that the residual radiation would cause a variety of radiation sickness and diseases. The radiation remained harmful for a long period after explosion. Even today there are people who had entered the bombed area in those days who are dying of a variety of diseases, including cancer, contracted through exposure to radiation from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs.

7. I think we all know about the Chernobyl disaster in Russia. Despite thousands of tons of concrete being poured into the site, the power plant is still emitting dangerous radiation.

8. Besides this we should know that radioactive material used as fuel for power generation remain radioactive and dangerous to health after the fuel has been exhausted. The waste cannot be disposed anywhere, not by burial in the ground nor dumping in the sea. It can be reprocessed by certain countries only. This requires the dangerous material to be transported in special lead containers and carried by special ships. Most ports do not allow such ships to be berthed at their facilities. Reprocessing means that the nuclear material again becomes active and harmful to health.

9. The fact is that we do not know enough about radioactive nuclear material. Once it is processed it remains a source of danger forever.

10. We have some experience dealing with radioactive material. In Perak we have a site where we had buried by-products of tin mining (amang) which had been processed to become radioactive and which was used to colour television. We had poured tons of cement on the buried material. More than one square mile of the burial site is barred to humans. The site is still radioactive and dangerous.

11. If we have a nuclear plant, besides not being able to get rid of nuclear waste, we may have accidents which can endanger people living even far away because of the material being carried by water (ground water) and wind.

12. I think the authorities should rethink the idea of nuclear power plants. Scientists do not know enough about dealing with nuclear waste. They do not know enough about nuclear accidents and how to deal with them.

13. Until we do, it is far better if Malaysia avoids using nuclear power for electrical generation.

Salam Yg Bhg,

comment by Concerned Malaysian on May 24, 2009 5:30 PM.

"Nuclear power is viable and safe. Current plant designs will not explode like a bomb, it is not possible. In fact the new plants are able to withstand plane crashes (similar to 9/11)"

With respect to your opinion.
No doubt nuclear plants can be equipped with safety features that adhere to strict internationals standards, but Malaysia is not ready for nuclear power, not for another 50 years and not ever.
Malaysia can be ambitious but not too ambitious as to having own nuclear plant.
Where do you think it will be situated?
How sure are you that the 'tidak apa attitude' would not exist among the people that will be involved in maintaning the plant, how ever high the standards might be?

Yes Chernobyl was a case of poor plant design and negligence, but you must remember that negligence can happen at the most highest security and well planned plant too.

Like Dr M said, it is better if Malaysia avoids using nuclear power for electrical generation until scientist know enough about the accidents and method of dealing with it.
MAHATHIRISM - Che Det

***************************************************

Salam Yg Bhg,

Whatever labels they gave you, to me Mahathirism can live forever. Straight thinking people are proud to have you as the premier then and don't mind if you be one again now.
No one in the cabinet now can replace or come close to being you.
There is only one Mahathir and won't be two.
We hope Malaysia will have one guy in the future that will take on your trait and lead this country.

Badawi and his gang are just good for nothing.
He was there for that short moment in his life not because of his effort but because you put him there.
The only 'smart' thing about him is his Kalli and SIL.RIP.

Pakatan Rakyat Holds Hunger Strike On Tuesday

The opposition coalition, Pakatan Rakyat (PR), in Perak will hold a hunger strike for three days beginning Tuesday to urge for the dissolution of the State Legislative Assembly as a solution to the political crisis in the state.

Perak DAP secretary, Nga Kor Ming said the 72-hour hunger strike would begin as soon as it was launched by former Perak menteri besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin together with former State Assembly speaker, V. Sivakumar.-- BERNAMA

*********************************************

Funny thing about this hunger strike held almost all by desperate group or people; they never actually die.
I might be wrong but i have never came across stories in this recent decades about people dying when they decided to go on hunger strike just to prove something that they believe so much, correctly or blindly.

At the end of whatever period that they intent, they will surely gallop litres of water and eat a cow.

I would suggest they start to torch themselves just like the Buddhist monk in Thailand last year.
That will prove to be worthwhile.
That will show people that you really mean your word and would die for your cause.

Stop all this bullshits hunger strike if you're gonna quietly sip water at the back of the people or press.

Yeah, right...

Najib's bridging initiative with S'pore

DATUK Seri Najib Razak's proposal for a third bridge linking Malaysia to the Singaporean island republic is more than just a proposed physical infrastructure. It's the prime minister's statement that he wants to get away from past legacies. It's his way of telling everyone that he wants to be seen and acknowledged as his own man.

In his third official visit to neighbouring countries, Najib made it known that he has certain ideas of his own which he wants to promote and execute. He's mindful of the history and significance of the countries he has visited and appears set to chart a new way forward.

He has so far called on Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and the latest, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

In line with the government's foreign policy, the next door neighbours are more than just trade and social partners. They are relatives in more ways than one.

Everyone knows how difficult the bridge issue has been between Malaysia and Singapore. There were statements and counter-statements and the issue had even caused rifts within the country. When former prime ministers Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi squared off over the issue, Najib, then deputy prime minister, found himself in the crossfire.

Much water still flows under the bridge. I like to think that Najib wants to leave some of the prickly issues behind and stamp his own mark on bilateral relations with Singapore. Najib and Hsien Loong have one common ground though -- they are both scions of prime ministers of their respective countries.

While they biologically and ideologically inherit some of their fathers' genes, I'm sure they both want to be seen to have their own will in shaping and guiding the destinies of their peoples' future.

The body language between Najib and Hsien Loong, if one can count on it, appeared to be positive and warm. The test before them is how much they can extricate themselves from the legacies (some might say shackles) of the past. It won't be easy.

When Najib proposed the idea of a third bridge, there was no immediate rejection from his counterpart. Instead, a ministerial committee would undertake joint studies to look into its feasibility. As for the Causeway, it won't be replaced. It may be widened instead, subject to further discussions between the neighbours.

Is this then the win-win formula that the two leaders were talking about? Each getting his way and yet not denying the other his say or desire. I'm not too sure if the idea of a third bridge had ever been broached before, but it has certainly raised eyebrows and set off renewed discussions on bridges, generally.-- by AHMAD A. TALIB

*************************************************

Yeah, right En Ahmad.
Perhaps the reason you came out with this story was just to suck up on somebody's butt or perhaps God made you man with golden heart. So pure and naive.

Of course body languages between the two would implied "warm gestures".
How do you expect people during a diplomatic talk to behave, if not that? They can't be slamming on each another can they?
They can't be calling each another's names can they?
They'll do that when they got in their car and blabber it out with their confidante.

And of course there won't be immediate rejection.
Who on earth would do that kind of silly thing during a bilateral talk. This region still consist of non-communist countries. Yet.

Wake up.
And stop being bullied by people who doesn't really respect you.
Ask Mahathir Mohammed why he dares to slammed the country during his office.

Malaysia proposes third bridge link to Singapore

Malaysia has proposed to Singapore that a new bridge be built to link the eastern side of Johor to the island republic.

The new bridge will help to further facilitate the movement of people and goods and services between both countries, Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said at a joint media conference with his Singapore counterpart Lee Hsien Loong here today.

Najib, who is here since yesterday for a two-day official visit to the city-state, said the new bridge would also help to develop the eastern side of Johor such as areas in Pengerang, including Desaru, which were still less developed and had huge economic potential.

He said the current linkages, such as the Johor Causeway, were having a high volume of traffic and had affected the smooth movement of people and goods between both the neighbouring countries.

Both sides agreed to look at the proposal in the medium and long term and also agreed to commission a study to look at the bridge viability, Najib said, adding that the new bridge proposal was one of the outcomes of their bilateral meeting to further enhance the close cooperation between Malaysia and Singapore.

Currently, the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia is connected to Singapore by the ageing Johor Causeway and the Second Link crossing in Tuas.

In 2006, Malaysia dropped a plan to build a second bridge replacing the Johor Causeway after it hit a dead-end following some disagreement between the two neighbours.

Lee also suggested that the Johor Causeway be broadened and the rail link connecting both sides of the causeway be improved to further ease traffic movement.

Earlier, upon his arrival at the Istana, Najib inspected a military guard-of-honour before proceeding straight to a four-eyed meeting with Lee.

The two leaders later joined the bilateral meeting involving the top official delegations from both sides. -- Bernama

*******************************************************

One thing that i failed to understand is why whenever there is new premier, there would always be proposal on new bridge whatnots.

And how funny can it be when the reasons would is "to help to further facilitate the movement of people and goods and services between both countries" .

These people (Singaporeans) are allowed in the country freely.
They drove on Malaysia's long straight highways over the limit and can go scott-free with it.
They even dare to flash light at local cars.
They pumped in the country's cheap petrol and drove back home to their pigeon-hole house and be merry with small apartments which car park need to be paid.
Yet they will still say they are better than Malaysia.
They still say Malaysia is not good.

They thought they are better off country than Malaysia; i mean, of course you Singapore can be better than Malaysia because you're are so small to manage and you've been managed similar to iron curtain countries.
But get real Singapore. You are so tiny that people hardly can see the existence of the island on the world map!

However the condition of bilateral relationship between the two countries -- the Malaysian government will always suck up to that little dictatorial island.
It made me laughed that it would always be Malaysia 'proposing' to them.
What about them?
They surely need Malaysia more.

Malaysian government, in my opinion, need nothing from that small country that harbour US military base for any future attack in the region. But the main problem with the Malaysian government was, they need to create some projects to enable them to create some income to 'themselves'.

Why don't the Malaysian government starts new regulations such as charging higher petrol everytime Singapore vehicle pumps in at the local stations.
Are we afraid of consequences that follow suit?
I can't think of any, in fact.

Thus that is why Mahathir Mohamed dares to shoot point blank at them.
Abdullah sucking up to them because of the SIL good relationships with the other side.
And now, the latest premier......duuhhhh...

So, lets see who will be paid to commission a study on the viability of the bridge.

Till then.

Im an ELECTRIC GIRL.......

This is my little declaration.

I have been 'charged' with extra static electric sparks that is totally irritating and making me jump at every instances since the start of this summer.
I remembered the last time i got little annoying zapp was during last year's summer but it did not ruled me as much as this summer.

This time it had gone a little bit too far.
I had been seeing light sparkle when i accidentally touch the metal part of the car key when locking the car, had a childish jump when i pushed open the sundry shop door when spark and the sounds of zapping bit me more than once.

Its making me annoyed and adding to the list of things that i must remember everytime i came out of the car and start touching things.
Whatever it is, i want to know, why me?
Why not my SO or my little girl?
Of course she won't know how to complain but my SO rarely had it at all.
And...and, the only time when i got it was after getting out of a vehicle.
Pushing the grocery trolley wont give that much zapp.

To me it is something mysteriously irritating.
I checked with some people that i know, and they don't have that kind of electric static that much.
It makes me wonder why my body sometimes become charged very easily.
The current answer that i got from my beloved SO was; "i got too much bad charges in my body that it wants to zapp things around me...." -- very funny.

So i did myself a favour and found out that it is more of the separation of negatives from the positives charges and the creation of imbalanced electric charges.

"Static" electricity or "net electric charge" appears whenever the normal quantities of positive and negative electricity in a substance are not perfectly equal.
In other words, it behave as a collector of positive and negative electrical particles. Normally the positives cancel out the negatives, and everything behaves electrically "neutral." but not in my case.

Im having a more negative than positive, or with more positive than negative, thus making me having a charge-imbalance and causes zapping occurrences every now and then.

There you go!

I discovered another part of myself tonight.
Im totally imbalance.
Not just mentally, and hormones but now; the collections of my positives and negatives particles!
Darn me.

I need not explain much on how does this imbalance occur exactly but basically after many footsteps, our bodies attain a high level of electric charge and a high voltage.
The most unbelievable fact was our human body-voltage can easily rise to several thousand volts, and this instances can caused a good zap if we touch someone else. The imbalanced charge gets shared between you and the other person or the object.
This kind of spark is painful because it's extremely hot. It drills into your skin like a white-hot needle, creating a microscopic burned area.

I really pray hard i don't have to go through those 'high'voltage' charges unless some idiots wanna try to step on my tail.

So, there are some cures but the simplest one is -- before touching a doorknob, a car door, i must first touch it with a metal car key. The fiercely hot spark will blast the tip of the metal key rather than blasting my sensitive fingertip, and it will painlessly discharge my body charge.

Or i can grip my keys firmly so no spark appears between the keys and my skin....hhmmmm...

Nevertheless one thing interesting is that there are reports of rare people, "Electric Humans," who spontaneously develop high voltage on their bodies and suffer the continuous problem of "static" sparks. Their sparking occurs regardless of footwear, clothing, humidity, or even motion!

This electric humans are forever getting zapped when they touch people, or when they touch large metal objects. Their bodies are different, and seem to become electrified all the time, all by themselves, without involving the friction or the contact/separation of differing surfaces....interesting.

Maybe i can join Fantastic Four after acquiring that 'electric gift'.

and yet again....

ALOR STAR: We have heard it all before. A local woman "meets" a foreign man in an Internet chatroom.

"Love" blossoms between them and then the "bad man" absconds with his Malaysian lover's money -- in many cases, her life savings or large amounts borrowed from relatives and friends.

Such was the case with a local woman who lost most of her RM50,000 savings to a confidence trickster she had befriended through one of the Internet chatrooms.

Customs Department assistant director-general Datuk Md Hassim Pardi said yesterday the victim had alleged that the man, claiming to be from the Middle East, had asked her to help settle a RM50,000 compound fine.

The fine was allegedly imposed on the man's agent after he was detained by Customs officers for carrying about RM3.4 million in American dollars at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport last month.

"Believing in the foreigner's promise that part of the money was for her to start a business, she settled the compound fine, but not with the department.

"It was done through a third party whom her foreign friend had sent to meet her.

"The RM50,000 was supposed to pay off my men so that the agent could be released.

"She handed over the money and never heard from her foreign chat friend again."

He said this was not the first case involving the department.

"The victim, at her wit's end over the missing 'agent' and her money and chat friend, contacted us.

"We have reminded the public about such scams on numerous occasions but we still find many Malaysians, mostly women, falling victim." -- NST

***************************************************

"We have reminded the public about such scams...."; this is so cliché.
How can you remind people when people have their own mind to think what is good or bad for them. Futhermore, how can you not tell someone not to fall head over heels over somebody that they thought might be the right one for them. The one that might bring them better pastures in life?

Perhaps it was rather do or die kind of thing in this lady case, besides being stupid of course.
She might thought that if she didn't do it, she might miss one good opportunity promised by the conman, so that is why she ever so willingly took all her life saving and hand it over to the Middle east-internet-boyfriend so casually.

Basically it was part gamble, part infatuation and major stupidity.

Worthless men.

Stains tell tale of sex with father since 12.

SEREMBAN: A 16-year-old girl's ordeal at the hands of her own father came to light when her mother noticed semen stains on her daughter's bed and tracksuit.

The 49-year-old mother, who is a chef at a restaurant, then inspected her husband's pants in their bedroom at their flat in Paroi, near here, and found similar stains.

She then confronted her daughter on March 8 who confessed that she had been repeatedly raped by her 52-year-old father since she was 12 years old.

The victim said her father had been raping her even when they were staying in Kuala Pilah before they moved to the flat in Paroi.

The girl, accompanied by her mother, lodged a report at the Seremban 2 police station on April 8 and was sent to the Seremban Hospital for medical examination.

The suspect was detained for questioning on Monday.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Saiful Azly Kamaruddin said if not for the mother, the victim would have continued to suffer in silence.

"The mother's actions led police to detain the suspect, a lorry driver, who is being held for questioning till May 10.

"All this while, the child told us that she was forced to keep the secret after being threatened by the suspect," he said, yesterday-NST

This is yet another embarrassing acts carried out by mentally sick man and boy towards their own flesh and blood. It is embarrassing because i dare to say ninety nine out of hundred of such cases came from Malay families.

It happens in low income family. Father usually the sole breadwinner, or mother is working and will be out very early from home. If catagorised, their occupations mostly are of the lorry or bus drivers, or 'felda' worker (village-based works such plantations) or factory worker.

I have had come across a story of a teenage girl being done this sinful and immoral thing by her own father and brother at the same period of time, without the knowledge of the two rapist of course. In this case i do not know who to blame; the girl or her mother.

I cant say much about the two bastards because in my opinion when they can conduct such an immoral actions, they are of those type that God don't grant any sort of emotions or conscience at all.

In my opinion, the poor girl should have she use her brain just a bit if it was so hard for her to think straight all along. She can chose to ran away, or go to the police, or inform her most trusted relatives or find a way to get the two buggers to pay for the sins.

Like this particular case, this young girl is very lucky to have an attentive mother.
Otherwise she'll end up having to satisfy the animal lust of her own father until futher notice!

I guess the bastardly father must be thinking that it is easy, as he doesn't have to pay for it and it is new and young compared to the prostitues that he had bang over the years while on his driving routines.

Many years ago, I was by a friend who happens to be a lawyer handling such cases.
Being a non-Malay, he asked me why does this kind of thing; for example incest happens mostly in the Malay families with Islam as their religion.
Seriously, I have got no good answer to that question because undoubtedly it happens in the Malay families. My dumb answer to his question was probably Muslim men were created by God to be very lustful, thus that is why they are allowed to marry more than one.

But what never fails to surprise me was that according to him and from what i read sometimes, the mother would not accuse the husband nor supporting his bad behaviour. He said most of the women when asked why didn't they take the initiative to lodge a report against the father once it was detected; their sole answer would be; they are afraid that they're going to lose the sole breadwinner for the family and later lose the man of their life.

I honestly cannot comprehend this.
Probably also because I was not from those kind of community to really know their plight.

I remember a case sometime in 2005 that a Muslim man in Singapore was accused of raping six of his daughters. The 45 year old man whom pleaded guilty to nine charges of rape and aggravated rape, with a further 34 cases were an ultimate embarrassment to the religion and should be stoned to death.

The most interesting and the laughing stock of my friends when we were discussing this matter was that this demon's defense lawyers claimed that the man believed that by "satisfying" his daughters' sexual "needs", they would be less likely to have pre-marital sex with boys.

And the crem de la creme of this family stories was, he raped five of his daughters in the span of two years with the help of some of his wives (well this animal married more than four, i guess he must have a dick which cannot lay down south at all!). The girls were aged between 12 years and 15 years at the time their father raped them. Two went on to get pregnant, and had abortions....i also wonder why abortions are not wrong in this Muslim family.

If you ask me what should we do to these lustful men? My answer would only be "they just need to be castrated". That will save loads of gullible women from marrying them or the daughters being their sex slaves.

Whiter smiles...

Ever on time for your dental check-ups?
I don't know about others but most of the people i know will never stick to the every six month visit to their dentist.
Same goes for me. Although an effort was being concerted for the twice a year check-ups but being human, i do take things for granted sometimes.
Its either I'd missed it by few months later or realised I'm in grave need for tooth brightening due to my excessive coffee intake and smoking, proud to say its on a-stick-a-day basis already.

Since my last visit to the dentist last Octobre for root canal due to ten years ago impact on my two front teeth when i fell on my face, I'm thinking of having my teeth bleached. I had done bleaching or whitening twice and the last one wasn't quite a good experience for me. For one, the procedures were quite uncomfortable, probably due to that particular dentist technique, and having my jaw wide open for that lenght of time was very tiring and painful.
The ultimate one that the dentist did was telling me if i ever want to have whiter teeth, i must not drink coffee or tea, eat curry, or turmeric based curries, and all sort of that nonsense; besides, that i hated him and his poker face ( he is the replacement of my usual dentist who migrated overseas).

Now I'm thinking to have it done here.
I don't know how these dentist will conduct their bleaching technique though.
While i wanted to try several products out in the market that claim can whiten the teeth, I wonder if they are safe to use? After all, we ingest much of what is on them by the mere fact that they are inside your mouth.
I have also used smokers tooth paste but stop after few years of using it when i read something unwanted about the chemicals in them.

Even that, come to think of it, the toothpaste that we put in our mouth twice daily, do we really know what kinds of health effects they can have.
Meantime, i do know after reading about natural ways to whiten the.
It is homemade and cheap.

1. Bicarbonate of soda - Brush your teeth with bicarbonate of soda just 5 minutes before brushing your teeth with normal toothpaste in the morning. You should see an improvement after several weeks.
(we do use this to wash our veges and fruits)

2. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide - Mix these together to form a toothpaste and efficiently brush your teeth regularly with this paste. It should remove all stains in a month.
(i know hydrogen peroxide can discoloured the hair!!)

3. Orange Peel Rub the inside of an orange peel (the white part) against your teeth and this should help in you teeth whitening treatment.

4. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) - Brush your teeth every night with apple cider vinegar. This is known to be an effective home remedy for teeth whitening.
(i know my mom used to drink this when she was a young mom to help keep the body slim- i never try it though)

5. Ash - Brushing your teeth with hard wood ash is also beneficial as it contains a teeth whitener – potassium hydroxide. It may not be the most tasty but it’s effective.
(i know this from my mom's childhood stories)

6. Your diet matters - Certain foods you eat help your teeth stay nice and white: celery, apples and carrots clean your teeth naturally by way of chewing vigorously, and other foods like lettuce, strawberries, lemons, broccoli and spinach prevent staining by either creating a sort of film that protects your teeth from stains or cleans them well.

7. Brush! - To prevent discoloration and permanent staining of your teeth brush after every meal.
(i know one guy who does this- every meal! I mean its totally 'hard' but undoubtedly he got damn beautiful smile)

8. Lemon juice and salt - Mix the two to create a paste and apply to yellowing spots on teeth. It’s been reported that this is one of the most effective home remedies for teeth whitening.

9. Avoid excessive consumption of coffee, tea, red wine, carbonated drinks and smoking.

10. Lemon - Dip your toothbrush in lemon juice and brush your teeth well. This is also effective home remedy for teeth whitening. And refreshing, too!

readers

One thing i like besides logging in my blog was to see where my readers are from.

I have been having readers, some of them just stopping by, and some of them who is quite a good follower. To these two groups i extend my thank you for your support and spending your precious time reading or browsing thru my mundane writting.

I have had readers from everywhere but one reader that came on my chart was from somewhere 'unknown'. The system cannot determine the location and from the map it showed the area in the middle of the sea.
Can it be people in a ship?....hhmmmm.....perhaps.

But it makes me wonder.....

Dangerous Travelling Part II

Air travellers from 3 countries to be screened

KUALA LUMPUR: Beginning yesterday, airline passengers arriving from Hong Kong, Denmark and South Korea have to be screened for influenza A as the virus has spread to the three countries.

Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican said the World Health Organisation confirmed that as of yesterday, the number of countries affected with the virus had increased to 16.

On Friday, the WHO reported that there were 257 cases with eight deaths in 11 countries, including the recently affected Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Dr Ismail said the United States had reported 141 cases with one death while Mexico had 381 cases with 16 deaths.

Other countries which reported cases without deaths were Canada (51), Spain (15), Britain (13), Germany (5), New Zealand (3), Israel (3), while Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Hong Kong (had one each).

Dr Ismail said as of Friday, 1,517 passengers and flight crew from the affected countries had been screened for influenza A symptoms. However, none showed any "influenza-like illness".

"Clinics and medical centres nationwide have also not shown any increase in cases or cluster cases.

"All health screening activities at main entry points across the country have also been stepped up."

Better avoid travelling for the time being.
Hopefully it wont as contagious as SARs.

Blue Blood Crab.

I came across a very interesting fact about this sea creature my dad used to brought home sometimes from his deep sea fishing those days when he was a lot younger.
This creature when i first saw was brought back home by my dad during my early teenage life which during that time seems to me rather yukky but kinda interesting.
According to my dad when i asked why he brought back this creature, he told me that it was for some medicinal purposes, which i do not know what exactly he meant by that and never bothered to ask anyway.

In my mother tongue it is called 'belangkas' or in English they call them Horseshoe Crab.
It must have been none of my interest or i have got nothing to do with any sort of medical research whatsoever, my knowing about this creature's beneficial trait to the pharmaceutical world impresses me very much.

I remember there was even a Malay proverbs mentioning about this creature.
Because of its frequent appearance, or mostly when found on shore sticking to each another tightly, the proverbs relates this action to couples in love who can't be separated, so to say.
I am also quite imaginative though.
I am very sure the movie Alien vs Predator creator got the idea of how the Predator should look like from the Horseshoe Crab.
Look at it carefully the next time you watch the movie.
It does look yukky when you really have a closer inspection at their stomach area, and with five pairs of book gills, located just behind their appendages, this creature can breathe underwater while also allowing them to breathe on land for short periods of time.

Although most arthropods (this is their scientific term) have mandibles, the horseshoe crab is jawless. The mouth is located in the middle of the underside of the cephalothorax, with chelicerae located at each side of the mouth. In the female, the four large legs are all alike, and end in pincers. In the male, the first of the four large legs is modified, with a bulbous claw that serves to lock the male to the female while she deposits the eggs and he waits to fertilize them.

But what amazes me more is that the Horseshoe Crab has blue blood.
It is amazing that when they strapped them for the 'bleeding' session the liquid that ozzes out is actually blue when it is exposed to the oxygen.
Hemocyanin is colourless when deoxygenated and dark blue when oxygenated. The blood in the circulation of these creatures, which generally live in cold environments with low oxygen tensions, is grey-white to pale yellow.

The blood of horseshoe crabs contains the copper-containing protein hemocyanin at concentrations of about 50 g per litre. These creatures do not have hemoglobin (iron-containing protein like us human and animals) which is the basis of oxygen transport in vertebrates. This is due to change in color of hemocyanin when it is oxygenated.Hemocyanin carries oxygen in extracellular fluid, which is in contrast to the intracellular oxygen transport in vertebrates by hemoglobin in red blood cells.

The blood of horseshoe crabs contains one type of blood cell, the amebocytes which plays a good role in the defense against pathogens. Amebocytes contain granules with a clotting factor known as coagulogen; this is released outside the cell when bacterial endotoxin is encountered. The resulting coagulation is thought to contain bacterial infections in the animal's semi-closed circulatory system.

How important has this creature contributed to our pharmaceutical industry? Their enzymes are used by astronauts in the International Space Station to test surfaces for unwanted bacteria and fungi.
They have been contributing to our healthcare as early as 1950s.

So, lets put this two together; "blue blooded" human and blue blooded crab;which one do you think will be better off as God's best created creature?

Dangerous travelling.

Woman's 'flu-like symptoms' divert plane to Boston

BOSTON – A flight from Germany has been diverted to Boston because a passenger complained of flu-like symptoms.

Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella says United Airlines Flight 903 landed in Boston early Friday afternoon after a 53-year-old female passenger reported her symptoms.

He says the woman was checked at Massachusetts General Hospital and the flight continued to Washington Dulles International Airport.

United spokesman Rahsaan Johnson says the pilot landed in Boston on the advice of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

It isn't yet clear what caused the woman's symptoms or whether she might be suffering from swine flu.

Johnson says the flight had 245 passengers and 14 crew members.

**********************************************

I have friends that will be travelling to these affected continents soon, and do hope that they will consider to postpone their schedule due to this 'yellow code' situation now.

Hopefully they wont mind losing something not as important as god given health and life....
